21 months

I am 21 months along today. I am over half way done and since they are going to deliver at least a week before, I only have at most 18 weeks left. Not that I am counting or anything :)

Last shuttle launch

Last Friday we went over to Cocoa Beach to see the last space shuttle launch.  We made it just in time, finding a seat on the bridge over the Banana River at T-2 minutes.

Here's a link to a video of the launch that Laurie shot.  Kudos on tracking the shuttle, holding a wiggler, and steadying the camera all at once!

After the launch, note the smoke trail left behind

Walking back to the car, note the bridge behind us where we had watched.  So many people driving past with their windows down were giving "awwwww"s at the sight of the girls holding hands.

No trip would be complete without putting our toes in the cool waters of the Atlantic.  Taken at the Cocoa Beach Pier.

Finally we made a stop nearby to visit Joe's Great Aunt Lil at a nice nursing home.  She loved meeting the girls!

I finally printed out the girls first year scrapbook

I am happy to say I printed out the girls first year scrapbook. Last weekend was Nation Scrapbooking Day. They had a great deal. Only 1.49 per 12x12 sheet. If I printed them at sams, they are 3.00 per sheet. Joe didn't let me print all of the pages I have done. It would have cost over $450. I had to only print what was to go in their first year book. Which was still a lot!
I did redue a couple pages from the very begining. Here are a few pages for you to enjoy.

Growing like weeds.

Every time I turn around the girls learn and grow so much. They already know over 120 words and that does not include all the animal sounds they know!
