We decided to go to a local park on Saturday, both to take in the fall colors and to get Laurie walking around in hopes of inducing some contractions.
The park is one of those living museums - a working Ohio farm kept perpetually in a bygone era - something around the 1880's. (I wonder if they have a trained midwife on hand?) It's the same park where Laurie had her baby shower, but Laurie's mom had never been there, and Joe's mom had never seen the farm part of it.
