Babies at 32 and 1/2 weeks

During the Ultra sound today there were not very many photo opportunities. Both girls were sleeping, and they are packed so tight in my belly that there is not much room for them to stretch out. I do have a couple face shots of them. Unfortunately neither one of them opened their eyes this time for Joe to see. Oh, well. I am sure we will see their beautiful eyes more then we want at times here in a few weeks. Especially at three in the morning. They are both 4lbs 10oz. Baby B is still slightly taller. It looks like at least Baby B has a full head of hair. Baby A was hiding her head a little, but it looks like she might have some hair as well. The ultra sound tech said to bring some bows to the hospital. We were able to see Baby A breath. They breath in the fluid. Baby B was not, but there was no concern since she was moving her arms and legs all over the place and had a great heart rate. Plus she is the one that gets the hickups at least once a day. Baby B is the top picture and Baby A is the bottom.

Lilyanne

I found this adorable picture of my niece on my sister-in-law's facebook site. Isn't she so cute!!

Belly at 7 months

I am on count down. There are less then 7 weeks left before these little girls arrive. Most of you know that I have gestational diabetes. I can't wait for them to be born so I can have chocolate again! Things are going great. The doctors say the girls look healthy. I can tell they are getting stronger by the way they beat me up from the inside. I am getting more and more tired, and I don't like to bend over to pick anything up. Whenever I drop something during the day, I wait for Joe to get home and have him pick it up for me. I don't have any doctors appointments this week, but starting next week, when there are only 6 weeks left, I have 19 different appointments already set up. I might as well move into the doctor's office. Until next time...

Babies at 28 weeks

Baby B gives a big yawn at 28 weeks. She is now 3 lbs 2 oz.
Baby B's eye open a slit at 28 weeks.
Baby A's face at 28 weeks. You can see her eye slightly open. She is now 2 lbs 10 oz
Both babies are very active and take turns kicking their mom. They are both head down at the moment, lets hope they stay that way. Only 9 weeks and a few days to go until these little girls are due to arrive. There is still so much to do!!

The Growing Belly

Laurie at 3 months. Most women with their first pregnancy don't start showing for a few more months, but Laurie is already wearing maternity pants.

Laurie at 4 months.

Laurie at 5 months. The background is our vegtable garden/jungle.

Laurie at 6 months. Notice how she is starting to look more and more tired. She is small for twins, but the girls are big for any average baby. They just sit farther back. At 25 weeks her belly was the size of someone 32 weeks along.

Laurie's belly seems to be growing faster and faster these last few weeks. Stay tuned for next months photo.

Fayetteville 2005

For those of you who wanted to see Laurie actually hold a gun, here is the proof that she not only held one, but shot one as well.
